If you are thinking about completing a kitchen remodel in your home, one of the biggest purchases will be your kitchen cabinets. When it comes to choosing your cabinetry you have an unlimited amount of options with an unlimited pricing options.

Our sister company, Artisan Cabinet Company has recently started offering a semi-custom cabinet option. Until recently, at Excel Builders we have only offered custom cabinets to our clients, even though semi-custom cabinetry can also be a great choice for budget friendly kitchen updates and remodels.

You have 3 options when purchasing semi-custom cabinets.
  • The first option, cabinets can be purchased only, and you install.
  • The second option, cabinets can be purchased, and we install as a standalone option, not including Excel Builders in your remodel.
  • The third option is purchasing cabinets through Excel Builders and our Design and Build remodeling package.
In other words, these cabinets can be sold as part of a remodel Excel Builders is completing, or as a part of your remodel that has nothing to do with Excel Builders.

The pricing is very straight forward. The same process as we use for custom cabinetry is what we use for semi-custom cabinets. If you provide us a sketch of your existing space with some basic measurements, we can put together a proposal. Pricing is completed on a per cabinet basis.

Cabinets come in 3” increments and range from 9” to 42”. Cabinets come in 10 different colors, 5 painted options, and 5 stained options. There are 10 different door styles to choose from.
Along with the basic option for base and wall cabinets, you can order open shelves, pantry cabinets, pullouts, spice drawers, wine racks, range wood hoods, and many more options to list. These cabinets are not only made for the kitchen. They are a perfect choice for your bathroom vanity, or even your home office.
