For this Chanhassen family, we updated their kitchen to give them the space and storage they needed by installing custom cabinets and drawers–and knocking out a wall in the process. Utilizing classic wood and granite materials we incorporated contemporary design elements, while keeping it simple. This kitchen, as well as all of our remodel designs are based around your wants and needs.
Chanhassen Kitchen Remodel, Making Space
Constructed in 1994, this client’s Chanhassen kitchen felt too cluttered and dated. We knew that with our help, this family’s kitchen could maximize it’s potential. One of our biggest goals was to give our client a renewed sense of organization by increasing their storage space.
Chanhassen Remodeling Contractor: Before Pictures
Prior to the Chanhassen kitchen remodel, we evaluated our client’s unappealing situation — a large wall and cabinets blocking the living room, an under-used dining area and harsh lighting. Our project started with the design phase, in which construction drawings were completed and all items were hand-picked for our client’s brand new kitchen. Next, we gutted the room down to the wall framing, took out the floor and started with our custom improvements.

Painting Trim and Doors
To give this kitchen a modern feel, we installed warm, custom cherry cabinets, soft-close drawers and doors, granite counter tops and new windows. Along with this, we sanded and refinished the hardwood floor and painted the walls and trim. To open up this kitchen, we knocked out a wall and removed the dining room.
