This modern Chanhassen master bathroom remodel utilizes natural light and materials for a refreshingly calm atmosphere. With classic product choices and contemporary design elements, this bathroom and all of our remodel designs, are based around our client’s wants and needs.
Chanhassen Bathroom Remodel, From Gutted to Gorgeous
Constructed in 1994, this client’s Chanhassen home was built with unreliable, low-grade materials. This two story, five bedroom house with two full bathrooms had huge potential and we wanted to show off it’s fantastic space. One of our biggest goals was to give our client a renewed sense of organization and comfort, without sacrificing good design.
Prior to the master bathroom remodel, we evaluated our client’s unappealing situation — a built-in whirlpool bathtub, fiberglass shower, tiled floor and a popcorn ceiling finish. Our task started with the design phase, in which construction drawings were completed and all items were hand-picked for our client’s brand new bathroom. Next, we demolished the room down to the wall framing, took out the floor and started with our custom improvements.
To give this bathroom a modern feel, we replaced all fiberglass surfaces with gorgeous marble stone. Along with this, by adding a toe drawer to the custom white vanity and a granite top to the double sink area, we created a perfect combination of utility and beauty. To add some personality and class, we replaced the built-in whirlpool with a dynamic freestanding air bubble bathtub and built a custom half-inch frameless shower door. Of course, all of these wonderful updates wouldn’t be worth it without the internal plumbing and electricity being renovated and restored, which you can bet we took care of.
The finished product, as you can see in the photos above, consists of crisp lines, calming colors and cool materials.
Modern with a dash of classic, this bathroom remodel provided our client’s with the functionality they needed, without sacrificing refined style.
