One of our more recent projects involved a three-week remodel on a Chaska home. The homeowners asked us to help create a smooth transition from their home’s basement out into their backyard. The home in question – a 2000 Rambler with a walkout basement – sported a stucco rear exterior. Past landscaping projects had left the home with a beautiful backyard, complete with a fire pit, grilling area and seating, all perfect for outdoor entertaining.
To help showcase their great outdoor space, the family asked us to install a picture window to provide a better view of their backyard and lake. We began by replacing the home’s existing windows with new Marvin Integrity Windows and installing the requested picture window. Next, we wanted to warm up the home’s exterior. We did so be replacing the existing stucco with a cultured stone that matched the rest of the house. In doing so, we were able to create a welcoming entrance into the backyard.
Not only was this a fun project to work on, but we were happy to learn that the clients were thrilled with their basement transformation!
