We began the remodel on this 1½ story home in Minneapolis with two clear goals — add more living space for the lower level and install a second bathroom. We accomplished these goals and created a remodeled basement that is now both relaxing and creative. There’s more light, warmth, and workable space, plus a pretty fabulous new bathroom!
Among our favorite features in this beautifully finished basement are the new Marvin windows that bring in so much light! We also love the stunning Alder wood accent wall that adds warmth to the family room, as well as the new closet and durable vinyl flooring, which really put the basement to work for the homeowners.
We’re especially proud of the bright new bathroom that includes:
- A walk-in shower – featuring lovely tile and a fabulous glass block wall!
- Gorgeous white hexagon tile floor that continues onto the shower floor
- Beautiful red & white tile backsplash to coordinate with the shower
- A pocket door that is both fun to use and saves on space!
- New cabinets and stylish hardware
- Plenty of new lighting, chosen to compliment the rest of the hardware
