After the gratitude of Thanksgiving and the adrenaline rush of Black Friday comes one of our favorite holidays – small business Saturday! This lesser known holiday is one that is near and dear to our hearts. It is your opportunity to recognize and celebrate brick and mortar small businesses, and all that they do for our communities. Here are just a few of the reasons why we love small businesses (statistics taken from the United States Small Business Association Office of Advocacy

- America’s small businesses are the engines of job creation. Small businesses create seven of every ten new jobs and they employ just over half of the country’s private sector workforce.
- Small businesses create thirteen times more patents per employee than large patenting companies.
