Whether you’re remodeling a bathroom or building a brand-new home, design is the most important step in the process. A well-thought-out design sets the tone for the entire project.

Note: Remodeling is a marathon, not a sprint.

A proper design streamlines collaboration, reduces costs, and results in a more cohesive and successful project.

Initial Consultation & Vision

Every project begins with a conversation.

We’ll review your realistic budget and overall vision.
We’ll talk about your timeline and expectations.
You’ll meet with our experienced designer to begin shaping your dream remodel.

Concept Development

This phase begins with a signed design contract and a clearly defined scope of work.

Our designer creates initial sketches.
Walkthroughs are scheduled with subcontractors (plumbers, electricians, etc.).
A preliminary budget is created, outlining:
- Scope of work
- Allowance items
- Initial design ideas

You’ll review the concepts with our designer during a face-to-face meeting, offering feedback so we can align the visual direction and functionality.

Design Refinement

To move into the detailed phase, an additional design agreement may be required.

We develop detailed plans and architectural drawings.
Materials, finishes, fixtures, and layout details are selected.
Engineers or specialists are brought in as needed to ensure viability and compliance.

Cost Estimating & Approval

We’re getting closer to construction—this is where plans become actionable.

The entire project is priced out based on refined designs.
Adjustments are made as needed to stay within your budget.
Final approval is obtained, and the contract is signed.

By breaking the design process into phases, we’ve built trust—an essential foundation as we move forward into construction.

Permitting & Pre-Construction

Before construction begins:

Permits and approvals are obtained.
Schedules, teams, and logistics are finalized.
Any necessary site prep or groundwork is completed.

Construction / Production

This is when your vision starts to come to life.

On-site work begins and progresses according to the schedule.
We provide weekly updates and walkthroughs with your construction manager.
Flexibility is key, adjustments may arise, and we’ll address them promptly.

Final Walkthrough & Handover

This is when we hear, and we do say “Do you remember what this space used to look like?”

As your remodel wraps up:

We complete a thorough final review.
Any remaining punch list items are addressed.
Ownership is transferred—and the celebration begins!
